Christmas at the Stockton's!

Our Christmas Tree!

With no fire place to hang out stockings....we have to get creative! :)

Christmas Concert

Phillip conducted his 3rd Annual Christmas Concert at Mandarin High School this last Thursday. We estimated that there were roughly 400 in attendance. The kids did a great job and Phillip was very pleased with the students performance. I didn't have a tripod when videotaping, so please excuse the "shakes"....Enjoy!

Thankful Thanksgiving!

Last week we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family in Peachtree City. We hit the ground running when we arrived going from one activity to the next with the kids. Because we don't get to see them as much as we would like, we try and spend as much time with them as possible. We had a blast playing baseball, decorating cookies, and playing in the leaves outside!

Friday we went to the AU/Bama game. As we were leaving Auburn, I realized I had not taken ONE single picture. Early that morning (4am...) my mom, sister, and I all went shopping for the Black Friday extravaganza. Not thinking to take any pictures, probably occurred because of the lack of sleep.

We had a great week visiting the family and are already looking forward to Christmas!! Enjoy the pictures....I only took 200 in 4 short days....(yes, I have a problem!)

and the catcher.... :)

Tubs was hilarious! He would chase wherever the ball was in the field.
Mom had it at this point so Tubs was on her heels!

From baseball we went to playing in the leaves...

and Triston!

From leaves we went to popsicles....

.....and from popsicles we went to cookie decorating!
(keep in mind this was all in ONE day!)

Instead of the traditional "fried" turkey...we transitioned to a smoker this year. They were really proud of this picture below....

Finished product!

What's Thanksgiving without some "family photos"!! :)
(except for some reason, we didn't get mom and dad in ANY of them!)

Missing the Manley's

This is a special post to our dear friends, Scott and Angela. While living in Jacksonville, we met two people who have become very dear to our lives. God knew we needed a couple like Scott and Angela down here in Florida and we often thank Him for their friendship. Scott recently received a promotion which took them both up to Oxford, MS. The move day was yesterday and we want to wish them the best of luck in their new home. Although we are sad to see them go, we truly are excited for them in this new experience in their lives. Besides....who knows what June will bring.... ;)

We miss you guys....but will see you soon! :) Love you both....(and Hagen, too!!)

Annual Hunting Trip

Phillip set out a few weeks back for the Annual Wheeler Hunting Trip with my dad. This year, Tony (Phillip's dad), was also able to join in on the fun. I made a big deal to Phillip about taking pictures because every other year he has gone, he comes back with nothing. If you know me at all, you know that pictures are VERY important to me. (I have 15,005 on my computer right now...just to be exact!!) He came back with wonderful pictures that captured the whole week! Thanks Phillip...you are so good to me. :)

Dinner the first night with some of Dad's side of the family. They ate at the exact restaurant where Dad proposed to Mom 30 years ago! :)
(L to R: Uncle Roger, Tony, Phillip, Aunt Jeannette, Grandad, Cousin Taylor, Dad!)

What's a hunting trip without some proof...

Phillip and his dad drove "to town" one afternoon and stopped by the Wheeler County Courthouse. At the courthouse, they have bricks laid with all the soldiers who fought in World War I or II. Obviously all the "Pendleton's" are family. My grandfather's is in the upper left corner....CD Pendleton!

The hunters!
My grandfather in the middle, has turned into an honorary hunter these days...the limited eyesight prevents him from actually doing the hunting. He still enjoys going every year to help out when needed! He also provides the trailer! :)

Glad I have this picture...Dad, Grandad, and Phillip!

The Big Texan is a restaurant in Amarillo. They are famous for their 72oz. steak. Supposedly, if you can sit and eat the steak, baked potato, salad, roll, and appetizer, you get the meal free. See picture below.... :) This has become a tradition for Phillip to eat when going to or coming from the trip.

Quick Tour...

Phillip was flying through the ATL airport on the way to Huntsville for a quick visit. It just so happened that my dad was just getting to work for the day. Dad took Phillip on a quick tour of the front of his airplane. He was able to see the navigation system along with other random parts of the airplane that passengers never get to see. He loved it!

Big Money!!!!

Angela and I put on one heck of a garage sale 2 weeks ago. The pictures don't really do all the "stuff" we had justice. Although it was quite a bit of work, it was well worth it in the end. What didn't sell, we donated to Salvation Army! :)

Moulton Visits Jacksonville

We had a great time a few weeks ago when grandparents, aunts and uncles, and in-laws/parents visited Jacksonville. We ate at some of the local restaurants, shopped at Town Center and toured St. Augustine on Sunday. We had a great time visiting with one another and showing our "Decatur" family, Jacksonville!

One month...

...is how long its been since I've last posted. We have been so incredible busy lately with everything going on. Phillip and I have been to almost every football game this year which has put us on the road almost every weekend. Last weekend, we both took Friday off and drove up to Tennessee for the game. We stayed in a cabin in the mountains with some friends and had a blast!! Instead of trying to write a novel about the past month, I'm just going to post some pictures instead. Enjoy! :0)

Aunt Karen and Uncle Allen came to the tailgate for the Miss. St. game! Great fun!

Cousins! (AU vs. Miss. State)
