A Thanksgiving Poem
Twas the night of Thanksigiving, I just couldn't sleep
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned, the dark meat and white,
but I fought the temptation with all of my might.
Tossing and turning with anticipation,
the thought of a snack became infatuation.
So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door,
and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plum and so round,
'till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.
I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky
with a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But I managed to yell as I soared past the trees....
Happy Eating to ALL--pass the cranberries, please!!
May your stuffing be tasty, may your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes 'n gravy have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious, may your pies take the prize,
may your thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs.
MAY YOUR THANKSIGIVING BE BLESSED!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!

Annual Hunting Trip Continues....
Phillip just got back from his annual hunting trip with my dad and some of the family. There were in Wheeler, TX for a week hunting quail. I threatened him to take pictures so I could document...and his words were "Sorry honey...I forgot." Sadly, this is the only picture I have from the hunting trip this year....thanks to my awesome cousin, Taylor....maybe this will teach him to take some on next years trip?!

Auburn vs. Ole Miss
What a GREAT weekend!! We had so many friends in town and enjoyed every minute (including game time). Not sure how to re-cap the weekend in just a few short sentences, so I'll let the pictures do the talking....enjoy!
Enjoyed some tailgating on Saturday before the game...
....and Tiger Walk!
...and a big win! WDE!
Mistletoe 2010
As many of you know, I spent last week in Jackson, MS for work. The store I work for, The Lily Pad, was accepted to be a merchant at Mistletoe Market 2010. This is a huge fundraiser put on by the Junior Legue of Jackson. Supposedly, the application process is very rigid. It was a long, tiring, and stressful week but being able to see the over-all product was worth all the hard work put into it.
