Mom sent me
this link yesterday. With some different color options, I thought it would make an extremely cute dress! I had an old shirt that had a hole towards the bottom so I thought it would be perfect to cut off and make into a dress.

I got this fabric from my favorite fabric store in Tupelo. When searching through their scrap bin, you pay by the pound...I may have spent .50 on this piece of fabric...maybe. When I first found this piece, I had absolutely no clue what I would do it with...just knew I loved it.

Step One: Cut off shirt to desired length

Step 2, 3, & 4: Sew fabric together and gather top edge to fit the t-shirt size.
From here, you just sew the fabric to the shirt.
extremely. easy.

Ta Da!!!

I am actually now in search of a mustard color belt to go with this. I think the splash of color will look much better than the brown. Cute, isn't it?!
p.s. The title of the dress actually held true.
