19 Weeks

(sorry for the "sleepy" eyes...this was taken BEFORE work this morning...)

How Far Along: 19 weeks

Size of Baby: Lee weigh’s roughly 8 ½ ounces and is approximately 6 inches long. Growing boy! J

Total Weight Gained/Lost: Up 6 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Pants-yes; tops-no. I can still wear most of my tops due to the looser fitting style that I’ve bought. I’m sure this is coming to an end rather soon, though!

Movement: Yes…starting to really recognize the movement. Before I wasn’t totally sure it was him…now I know! Phillip is dying to be able to feel him move. Not until he's at least 1lb. though will that happen. Comming soon!!

Sleep: Sleep varies…some nights are great, some nights are not. I’m getting really sick of having to sleep on my side, though. My arm falls asleep…leg falls asleep….back hurts…bleh bleh bleh!!

What I miss: I’ll have to admit it’s still the caffeine! COFFEE PLEASE!!

Cravings: Would ice cream be too cliché? Yes? Ok…I’ll have to admit it’s candy corn lately. Although, not sure that’s a “pregnancy” craving as I usually polish off bags at a time during this time of year, EVERY year! Oh...and fruit! :)

Aversions: Literally depends on the day….

Symptoms: Feeling great! Tummy is just getting bigger….which I love. Only because that means we are that much closer to meeting our baby boy!

Highlights from this week: Just trying to enjoy this time as much as possible. We also started a registry last weekend. It’s so fun to pick out things that we know we’ll be using with our CHILD come February!!

Quick Plug....

I'll have you know that we are STILL using the original laundry detergent "ingredients" from way back when I made the first batch. If you missed it, you can get the recipe here! That was almost 5 months ago!!! We are just now almost out of bar soap which will be all of about a $2 purchase at Wal-Mart. We love the detergent and love that we can make whatever smell we want. We are still using lilac....but will probably change to a different scent next go around.

We haven't spent money on laundry detergent in forever...and it's wonderful! Definitely worth the time and effort it takes to make! I highly recommend it!

Beep Beep!

I found some extra fabric in my collection last night and decided Lee needed some PJ pants and a matching burp cloth. Doesn't everyone?!

I haven't finished the waistband yet....ran out of ink to print the rest of the pattern. If you sew, and want the pattern...they are extremely easy to make. I can whip up a pair in about 20 mins flat.

And last but certainly not least....these were my "helpers" throughout the process. Aren't I a lucky camper! ;)

Golf Carts!

Can't you see baby Lee showing up in PTC with this little outfit on? Golfcart and all!! Saw this at cracker barrel and had to have it! I mean seriously...how cute?!

Gender Reveal Party!

A few weekends ago we had a gender reveal party with some of our family in Moulton. I got the idea from a friend of mine, LindsayAnn. Thank you!! :) I had some cupcakes made with either pink or blue in the middle. We had a great time and I think the family really enjoyed it!!

These kids also had a great time together. I can't wait until Lee is old enough to romp around with these three!

We had LOTS of gooood food! Smoked turkey, delicious BBQ, butter beans, baked beans, potato salad....etc., etc., etc.!! :)

We had everyone wear either orange, for a girl, or blue, for a boy based on their vote! We also had everyone cast one final vote on these plates....mainly for picture purposes!!

The Revealing Cupcakes

TEAM PINK!

TEAM BLUE!

On your mark....

Get set....

GO!!!!

Obviously team BLUE won!! :)

We had a GREAT time at the party and enjoyed celebrating the arrival of our sweet baby boy, Lee! We can't wait until February gets here!!

18 Weeks

How Far Along: 18 weeks

Size of Baby: Baby is about the size of a bell pepper this week.

Total Weight Gained/Lost: Last I checked, I was up 6lbs....

Maternity Clothes: Yup! Also still can wear my looser fitting clothes that are not maternity as well.

Movement: I actually felt him move in the middle of the night last night! I also felt him move last week as well. I LOVE the feeling!!

Sleep: Going well since the purchase of my new body pillow!! Thank you, Phillip!! I'm not a side sleeper, so having to only sleep on my side has been a bit difficult. I'm getting used to it though!

What I miss: Still the caffeine....ugh!

Cravings: Still the jalapeno peppers from last week....mmmm!! I may have to have them tonight!

Aversions: Believe it or not....mexican! I know...I know. If you know me AT ALL, you know before I was pregnant, I LOVED mexican food. Since then, it hasn't been something I've craved. I haven't missed it AT ALL. Crazy, huh?!

Symptoms: Feeling great!! No new crazy symptoms this week, thank goodness!! :)

Highlights from this week: IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are SO excited. I can't wait to meet him. It was so fun telling all our family. I copied a friend of mine and had a gender reveal party. We had a GREAT time....pictures to follow!!

And.....

....the verdict is in.....

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!

Meet little Mr. Lee Holland Stockton!!

(waving at us!)

We could not be happier about the arrival of our little boy in February! Now on to nursery decorating....and SHOPPING!!!!!! :)

17 Weeks!

How Far Along: 17 weeks

Size of Baby: Baby is growing rapidly and will double in size in the next couple of weeks! Baby weights about 6 ounces at this point.

Total Weight Gained/Lost: I'm up 6 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Wearing my maternity "work" pants pretty much every day. My jeans are also a new favorite part of my wardrobe. There are still some things out of my own closet I can wear....cotten dresses, some pants, jeans (using the rubber band trick!), and a bunch of tops.

Movement: YES! While I was at the doctor Monday, he said it should be getting to the point that I'll know when I feel it. Today was the day that I KNOW I felt it. It felt as though baby turned a summersault in my belly!

Sleep: Going ok....I was waking up a lot during the middle of the night but I think it's because I was going to bed too early. I made myself stay up later last night and slept straight through the night. Funny how that works, huh?! :)

What I miss: CAFFEINE!! I love Dr. Pepper....and having to limit myself to one every other couple of days is not fun!

Cravings: I haven't really had any strong cravings lately. There are still times when I can't eat certain foods that normally I would love, but for the most part, the appetite is getting better.

Aversions: Nothing.

Symptoms: Feeling great! Mom asked me tonight if pregnancy so far is what I thought it would be....I told her it's much easier than I thought it would be. **knock on wood**, I've felt great throughout the entire process starting from 5 weeks when we found out. Hopefully it will continue!!

Highlights from this week: Finding out what Baby S is!!! We are SO excited and can't wait to reveal after Saturday!!! Stay tuned....

Cooler Weather

We are all enjoying the cooler weather around our house! It was so nice to sit outside last night while Phillip grilled steaks and not be incredible uncomfortable because of the weather. We are praying that it sticks around for a while!
Even they are enjoying it!

16 Weeks!

How Far Along: 16 weeks

Size of Baby: Baby is growing rapidly! Baby is the size of an avocado this week!

Total Weight Gained/Lost: Again....not sure the exact weight gain. I go back to the doctor on Wednesday so I'll know then.

Maternity Clothes: Finally was able to go to Target when we were home this last weekend. I bought some jeans and black pants for work. Wore the jeans today and they are SO much more comfortable than my other jeans! I'm not going to lie....I could get used to the elastic waist! ;)

Movement: YES!!! I actually felt it this last weekend. I was laying on my back in bed Monday night and actually felt the little booger move. It was pretty faint....but I'm 100% sure it was it!

Sleep: My wonderful husband bought me a pregnancy body pillow for my birthday and it has made a WORLD of difference. I've gotten some great sleep lately for a change!

What I miss: Nothing lately....

Cravings: Fruit and sweets! 2 snicker bars last week....oops! ;)

Aversions: Nothing this week.

Symptoms: I feel great! Can't complain at all. Other than my belly growing outward, I wouldnt' know I'm pregnant!

Highlights from this week: Spending the weekend with Melinda, Thomas, and my parents! We had a great weekend. Also, buying the first item for baby S while in Auburn....a little pair of AU socks for the hospital!

AU

I mean really?! How cute are these??
There will be NO doubt who Baby S is cheering for in the hospital!!
