I'll come back later and update with stories, more pictures, etc.. For now, you just get a series of pictures from day one to see! Enjoy!

40 WEEKS!!
How far along: 40 weeks! I made it. Now....let's have this child already....
Size of baby: 7 1/2 (ish) lbs....may be plus or minus a full pound.
Total weight gained/lost: My final weight gained is 24lbs.. My doctor said at the very beginning of my pregnancy that he predicted me gaining between 20-25lbs....I'd say it sounds like he knows what he's doing! :)
Maternity Clothes: of course....for ONE MORE WEEK!!! YAY.....I'm so sick of these things I could scream.
Movement: Yes....and most of the time, they hurt! He's running out of room and will jab and stick little feet anywhere he can find a place.
Sleep: Is pretty good actually....no major complaints. Besides being 40 1/2 weeks pregnant....considering, I'm sleeping fine!
What I miss: People greeting me by looking at my face not my stomach. I swear people....I still have a face!!!!!!!!
Symptoms: Contractions here and there....that's about it. Heartburn is very little to none.
Aversions: These past couple weeks I've become very sensitive (again....flashback to first tri-mester) to smells. As long as it doesn't smell foul....I'm good to go!
Highlights this week: MEETING OUR BABY BOY!!!!!!!! We can't wait. We had our very last doctor's appointment on Tuesday at 9am. Doctor Smith said that everything looks great and we are ready to go....now if only Lee would get this memo!! :) I've had to remind myself how fortunate I am to make it to the end with absolutely no complications. I've been so blessed and thank the Lord every day for such a smooth process thus far. We go in Sunday at 6pm if he has not made his debut before then. We are still holding out hope that he comes before on his own....but who knows! We'll see! Stay tuned.....

Frosty Paw Update!
They were in fact a hit! :) The dogs loved the treats. They were also incredible easy to get out of the molds. I'm just keeping mine in a large freezer bag. All in all a great pinterest success! ;)
(You can still see some of Haley's left....she looked up just in time for a quick picture then back to the frosty paw!)

God Provides...thank goodness!
Thank you Lord for your many blessings in life. Often times we take for granted with how the Lord takes care of us, protects us, or provides for us on a daily basis.
Yesterday was a perfect example of this for me. I was driving down College Hill Road (two lane) and all of a sudden I saw a car coming towards me loose complete control. He swerves and then over corrected putting himself in my lane doing a 180. Last minute, I swerve off the road and go into a small ditch to avoid hitting him head on. Although shaken up bit, we were both ok. Later we found out that his breaks went out on his car and he was unable to stop. He was a young guy and it scared him half to death. You should of seen his face when I got out and he realized I was very pregnant. Again, thankfully we were both ok. It could have been MUCH worse than what it was.
Thank you Lord for protecting us both from hitting head on. Thank you for allowing us to be at a part in the road where there was somewhere to pull off and avoid hitting each other. Thank you Lord for just keeping us safe!!
Try and be more mindful of how the Lord protects us, provides for us, and keeps us safe on a daily basis. Even when we don't realize we are being protected or being provided for. I know I will!! :)

39 Weeks Old!
Here is our last picture of him before he's born!
Just can't get enough of those chubby little cheeks!
:)
39 Weeks!!!!
How far along: 39 Weeks...can't believe it's almost over (hopefully!!)
Size of baby: We got an estimated weight this week at our last ultrasound of 7lbs. 3 oz. as of Tuesday....(could be plus or minus a full pound....)
Total weight gained/lost: Up 25lbs. Ugh....this can stop now! :)
Maternity Clothes: Yes
Movement: Yes....definitely starting to hurt at this point though....
Sleep: Been ok...some nights great, some nights not
What I miss: Sleeping on my back and tummy
Symptoms: I wish I could say TONS of contractions...unfortunately its not the case! haha...he'll come when he's ready, and I know this...I just wish he were ready....yesterday!
Aversions: Nothing new this week.
Highlights this week: Last ultrasound was Tuesday! He was in perfect position for a little shot of his face so our sweet ultrasound technician, Ginger, switched it over for us. We weren't expecting to get a sweet little picture of his face but what a nice surprise! Of course, he had his hands up by his face (how he has been the ENTIRE time....) and he was just a snoozing away! He's got some chubby little cheeks which I can't WAIT to pinch once he gets here! ;) She also confirmed that he does have hair!!!!! She measured him weighing around 7lbs. at this point (could be plus or minus a full pound though....) and he is measuring exactly at 39 weeks.
Doctor said at this next (and hopefully last) appointment on Tuesday, we will discuss what the options are if there is no progression or if there is progression. We'll see....c'mon baby Lee!!!!

Pinterest Alert!
I'm on a roll this week with these things!
I found this recipe for frosty paws (dog treats) on Pinterest a couple months ago, and having mostly all the ingredients already, I thought I'd try it tonight.

They were extremely easy to make and by the drool on my floor after I was done putting them together, I believe they'll be a hit once they freeze!
All you had to do was combine all these ingredients in a mixer and freeze! Seriously? Simple. I used an old egg carton so the molds wouldn't be too big.
Blessings!
Thank you Chinese Restaurant for assuring us that our child is a great blessing! ;) Now about this "unexpected" thing...are we talking this week? Next week? :)

Pinterest Alert
Annoyed that my cabinet started looking like this...
So I took some fabric I had laying around
....and made this!
Doesn't this look better?!

Pinterest Alert!
Yes, yet another pinterest post! I was bored and wanted to sew something. Of course, I gravitated towards "baby items" when I was searching on pinterest the other day. This took me all of about 30 minutes to sew. How cute did it turn out (if I don't say so myself.....ha!)?! Who doesn't need a diaper caddy for their purse?!
Found this fabric at Wal Mart for about $4 total....
I actually added the green ric rac myself.
I thought it needed just a little more....
Finished Product!

Packed and Ready!
Bags are packed and we're ready to go!! Although I'm not anticipating an early arrival, you can never be too sure. I've never in my life had as much fun as I did packing Lee's bag. I loved picking out outfits, blankets, ect., that I knew we would be using once he arrives!! Can't freakin' wait!!! :)
Now, c'mon buddy...there are tons of people that are ready to meet you!!! :)
Pinterest Alert!
So, I've been thinking about this whole pinterest thing. I'm obsessed....as is every other female I know. But, if you think about it, if we don't ever use any of the creative ideas, recipes, ect., what really is the point of it, ya know?! Total waste of time in my book. SO, I've decided to start putting some of the great ideas to good use. I know this is extremely minor, but a pinterest idea none the less. I pinned this a while back and just got around to buying what I need to make it happen.
If you are like me, we used to have our cleaning supplies all over the the place....under the sink, above the washer/dryer, in the bathrooms, ect....took up tons of space that we don't have to give up. Finally, I bought this shoe organizer, hung it where our washer and dryer are and ta-da!! All the supplies are now in one place, neatly organized, and out of the way! You wouldn't believe how much counter space we free'd up. It's wonderful! Anyway, just thought I'd share this great, simple, and CHEAP idea!
P.s. Pinterest is tons more fun when you start using some of the ideas you find. Good luck!! :)

Dear Lee,
I love you....very much! And in 3 short days I can say I have for exactly 10 months! Now, with that being said....10 months is a REALLY long time to wait. EXTREMELY long. So, anytime you would like to start making your decent into the "real world" you are more than welcome. I know you are extremely warm, comfortable, and cozy in your little cacoon, but momma will absolutely guarantee you a warm, comfortable, and cozy place to stay once you arrive as well. PROMISE! You have a nice bassinet all ready for you and an extremely cozy looking swing that will do nothing but lull you to sleep anytime you would like! (Your sister currently barks at it while it swings....but we'll soon stop that once you are actually laying there in it....hopefully.) Anyway, that's all besides the point. We love you and can't wait to meet you....hopefully soon!
Love,
Mom

Obsessed!
I'm telling ya, whoever says dogs can't sense when things are different, is crazy. These two puppies have been obsessed with their momma for about a week now. Yes, they still love Phillip TONS, but I swear, every time I look down, I see these two sweet faces staring back at me!
Haley loves laying against my stomach if possible. We've decided that Tubs will probably watch from a distance when Lee gets here but Haley will want to be right in his face at. all. times.
Can't WAIT to see how accurate our predictions are! :)
38 Weeks!
How far along: 38 Weeks...can't believe it's almost over.
Size of baby: Not sure....although we asked the doctor today how big he thinks he'll be and he's saying no more than about 7 lbs....at the most. We'll see next week at our last ultrasound exactly how accurate he is! :)
Total weight gained/lost: Stayed at the same weight from last week....still up 23 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Yes
Movement: Movement is starting to slow down quite a bit. Hopefully he's running out of room and will make his grand entrance sooner rather than later! :)
Sleep: Hasn't been horrible at all....I know this is crazy! Sleep was worse at the start of my third trimester than it is now. Isn't that somewhat backwards?!
What I miss: Sleeping on my back and tummy!
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, Nesting, maybe a contraction here or there, etc..
Aversions: Nothing new this week.
Highlights this week: Second to last (hopefully) doctor's appointment was today. Lee's heartbeat was 135, a little lower than last weeks. We had a great appointment but unfortunately nothing new to report. Doctor says that he is extremely comfortable right now and is showing no indication that he would like to come out any time in the next week or so. Although, he did say that stranger things have happened and I could go from zilch to 10 centimeters dialated in a matter of a night....so to be prepared. We get to see him one last time in my tummy at next week's appointment. Very excited!!

Loaded and Ready!
With 2 weeks to go, we thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and install the carseat into the car! We can now bring Lee home from the hospital! :)
Now on to more waiting and waiting.....and waiting.
Being a responsible dad and reading the directions! ;)
TA DA! :) We're READY!
