Weekend re-cap!

This was our first weekend home in over a month and boy did we need it! We had a blast doing nothing....hanging out with each other, sleeping in, grilling, shopping, ect..
We both got to pick up the boy from daycare Friday. He loves it when this happens! (And so do we..)

We went outside to play some Friday evening. We haven't had a chance to play outside in a while and made a point to do a lot of that this weekend. (He gets to play outside LOTS at daycare so he's worn out usually during the week..)
We did a lot of this also. Phillip and Lee sat and watched Phillip's childhood favorite, Peter Pan. Too cute...
Lee made us dinner one night. Pears, bananas, grapes and a lemon. Yum!
We went to Walmart for some groceries on Saturday. I thought Lee would just love this little ride...yeah, I was wrong.
Phillip smoked some ribs. Uh-delicious!
And made chocolate chip pumpkin cookies! Happy fall y'all! ;)

Monday After...

....we are SURROUNDED by State fans. The win this last weekend was important in the survival of football gloating this season! ;) We all had orange and blue on come Monday after the game. Proud Auburn fans here!

Auburn vs. MS State

We were in Auburn last weekend for the state game. We had a great time relaxing and tailgating all weekend! Friday evening we danced the night away to a fun band! Lee danced and played all night.

Saturday morning we met our good friend, Addie Ruth and her parents for breakfast at chick fil a. I think we found a new tradition! We had a blast!!

Saturday we tailgated and played all day. We had zero plans and it was so nice. Great day!

We decided last minute to stay home from the game. We were exhausted and just in a lazy mood. Great times!

The camp ground has started a tradition of rolling a tree in the middle of the park. The kids love it! So fun!

Locker Room Tour

Phillip and I both have been in the Auburn locker room many times but taking Lee for the first time was extra fun! Will he remember it? Probably not. Will we? Absolutely!

All he wanted to do was run around, so getting him to smile for a picture was hard work. Thanks for the help, mom!

Walking out of the tunnel....too bad we couldn't go all the way on the field. Maybe one day! :)

Lee was itching to just take off and run as fast as he could down the field. I can see it now....#86. Although with his build, he may have to be on defense. :)

Lee was into these balloons the most (in true 19 month old fashion...). He loved them and wanted them but waved "bye" to them as we left. No tears.....PROUD mommy moment! haha!

This is his "game time" face apparently....ready to take on State!

Auburn vs. Arkansas State

We started last weekend off with a pep-rally in downtown Auburn! Lee was interested in Aubie....but didn't want to get too close to him. We had a blast visiting with friends, eating dinner, and doing some shopping.

Saturday, lots of Phillip's side of the family came down to tailgate for the game. We had almost 30 people there and had a blast! It was hot...but the food was good and the company was even better. :)

We decided last minute to take Lee to the game. He actually did better than we all expected. This was him watching the eagle fly for the first time. Great times!
This $10 sucker was well worth the money. It allowed us to make it through half time! Did it create a HUGE mess....yes. Was it worth it....absolutely!
A little tradition of rolling a tree at the campground started this year. Until the new trees are placed at the real Toomers, this will have to do! He has fun regardless! :)
