We had a great Christmas this year spending our time with family. We went to my parents house until Christmas day and then on to Phillip's family Christmas day and after!
We decided to start a tradition this year of drawing names on Christmas Eve and buying each other $3 worth of gifts at the Dollar Tree. This was mostly done for the kids so they could feel apart of the giving process on Christmas. They (as well as the adults...) loved it and had a blast! Who knew all the unique and creative gifts you can come up with for someone at the Dollar Tree...
My favorite gift that was given was from Lexi to dad. She found this book "about the war" (so she thought) because it had a guy with a gun on the front cover. Absolutely hilarious! The book was actually about some back to the future....weird alien type. Dad's reaction was great!
That evening was spent at our tradition of mexican food for Christmas Eve dinner. Delicious! This started back when my sister and I were kids....we loved it then and still do!
Group Shot...
