Let me start by saying that I'm sure some of you who read this get sick of reading posts about our dogs....just hold out until February. It will get better...promise!
Secondly, you may also be wondering why I'm blogging about this specific occasion....let me assure you, this is worth blogging about. Yesterday we left for church around 9:40. I decided to leave the dogs out in the house instead of housing them in the bathroom like we usually do. Why I did this? Not sure. Just decided to see how (mainly) Haley would act being left out for 4-5 hours by herself. Now if any of you know our dog Haley...you know this was a huge risk...usually we can't trust her when we are there, much less when we're gone!

Can you believe, the ONLY thing chewed was a flip flop I had left under the coffee table? It was an old flip-flop that needed to be thrown out anyway....can you believe it?? I was very excited, VERY surprised, and somewhat relieved!! We love Haley, truly do, but she's a pistol. Into everything and always on the go! Just for reference, in the last couple of days (mostly while we've been home...), she's chewed a pack of tape, a box of needles (for sewing), a decorative ball off the coffee table, a pack of bath confetti, half her bed, a bottle of eye re-wetting drops, and dug into the bathroom trash can. Just the one flip-flop while we were gone....was HUGE!! Truly momentous occasion that should be celebrated!
