24 Weeks

How Far Along: 24 weeks

Size of Baby: a little over a pound...although I was reading this week that from now on he should gain about 6 ounces per week!!

Total Weight Gained/Lost: Still at 11lbs. Went to the doctor this morning and I haven't gained a pound since my last appointment.

Maternity Clothes: Absolutely.....ordered some more "work" clothes this week online.

Movement: Yes! Little booger moves all the time!

Sleep: ehh...ok. Not horrible but not wonderful either. Trying not to complain too much right now!!

What I miss: I've really been missing my wine this week!!

Aversions: Still no major aversions. It really just depends on the day. I've been having random cravings though....spaghetti, apple sauce, "breakfast" foods (which if any of you know me at all...you know that is normally NOT my thing.

Symptoms: Still a little indigestion and some back aches during the night. Other than that, I'm feeling GREAT!

Highlights from this Week: We went to the doctor this morning for the Glucose Screening test....didn't pass the first one. I was 8 POINTS AWAY!!!!!!!! GRRR!!!! My doctor's exact words were "don't wig out if you don't pass"....so I'm not "wigging" out. Really though, I'm not worried one bit. I'm just ticked that I have to take off work to come back next week for the 3 hour screening. Seriously! And 3 hours in that waiting room???? ugh. Next weeks include a finger prick every hour on the hour. I'd much rather have them draw blood in my arm than get a finger prick....those things HURT! We got to hear Baby Lee's heart-beat and it was just a beatin' at 148. Also, the doctor is very pleased with how I'm progressing. One more appointment and then I'm down to every 2 weeks. Can't believe I'm to this point. Insane! He'll be here before we know it....guess we better get going on this darn nursery, huh?! :)
