Vrooom!!

This kid LOVES his red car. Absolutely loves it. If we're bored, fussy, or just needing to get outside, the red car is the answer!! :)

Fall Friday Tradition!

HAPPY FRIDAY, EVERYONE!! :)

ABC

I snapped a couple pictures the other day as I went to pick Lee up from daycare.

I mean how cute is this?! I love watching him play with the other kids. No wonder why he loves going to school every day!! ;) He was actually in the Johnny jump up as I arrived just having the time of his life!

Ole Miss vs. Texas

Lee and I met Phillip down at the Grove for a little bit of tailgating last weekend for the Ole Miss/Texas game. Apparently they were estimating this to be one of the largest crowds seen in a while, so of course, we wanted to be right in the middle of it! ;)

We met up with some friends who had set up a tent in the circle (right next to the Grove...). We had a great time visiting an playing with the other kiddos!

It was definitely packed. We met up with some other friends who are long time Ole Miss fans. They said its the largest crowd they have ever seen.

We had a great time!! Next up, Auburn vs. Ole Miss. But dot worry, we won't be wearing red that weekend!! :)

Hotty Toddy!

We went down to the square tonight for the big pep rally for the Ole Miss vs. Texas game this weekend. Apparently there is going to be an estimated 100,000 people in Oxford this weekend. Ugh!!! This means, camp Stockton is about to kick off. We plan to not leave the house all weekend!! Traffic is bad on a good day much less with LOTS of people in town.

Lee loved Col. Reb. He wouldn't stop looking at him! :)

A nice college boy in front of us caught this football from the cheerleaders and gave it to Lee. Such a gentleman!!

Love these two SO much. Oh yea, and Hotty Toddy! Beat Texas!

BFF's!!!

6 month wellness visit

More shots. :( Lee had to get a second round of vaccines at his 6 month check up this week. He wasn't a fan although did really well despite getting poked 3 times! He weighed in at 20.6lbs, 26in in length and has dropped a bit to the 88% for height and weight. Love my little chunk. Doctor said he's doing great! We wouldn't trade our nurse for anything!!! She's great with the shots and SO fast. This picture was taken right before bath time Tuesday night.... :)

1/2 Way.....

Are we seriously half way through our picture frame already?? Time is flying by. I love the little personality we are starting to see more and more of with Lee. I truly believe he is going to be a fun loving, independent, (maybe a little stubborn!), sweet boy!

This picture frame has probably become one of my favorite gifts. We have it hung in our bedroom perfectly positioned to see every morning. It seems like it was just yesterday I was putting in the "month #1" picture. And now we're half way around!!! (just now noticed i still need to put in a "birth" picture....ha! Opps.) Slow down, time!

Auburn

(late in posting.....sorry.) We went to Auburn to visit family and friends over labor day weekend. We had a great time, of course. Friday we met some good friends for lunch at Veggies To Go!

They are pretty much a match made in Heaven! ;) haha!

We then went over to the Baggetts for a little play date. So fun!!

We went on many golf cart rides at the tailgate spot. Lee loved the golf cart. If it wasn't moving, he would start to get antsy. The minute we started going again, he would get super still and just look around.

We also did a little shopping. Duh. :)

Saturday was spent with good friends tailgating and watching football.

We battled quite the fever while we were there also. Lee's fever got up to 103 at one point. Just a little virus. He got over it quickly and despite not feeling well was such a happy baby!!

We also did a little birthday celebration while there. Love my cookie cake!!

Sunday we all went out to eat at Laredos. Of course, Phillip just HAD to get them to come sing. Ugh. :)

Lee was NOT a fan of the hat. At. All.

Mom wanted to get him to try some meat. He wasn't a fan of that either. :)

So glad Kristin came to visit as well. We had a great visit and enjoyed some delicious (mouth coloring) :) cupcakes!!!! :)

Until next time, Auburn!! :)

Pinterest Alert!!

....seriously probably the best recipe I've tried in a really long time. Homemade donuts!!!!!! Delicious.

Take canned biscuits and cut out the center. I used an ice cream scoop. Worked well for me.

Make the frosting out of confectioners sugar, milk, and cocoa. Best frosting ever. Phillip actually compared the frosting to a donut shop in town. Score!

Fry the donuts. Be very careful and don't get your grease too hot. Learned that lesson the hard way......opps.

Ta da!!!! You're done!! And your husband will be VERY happy!!!
