Opps!! Looking back through my phone pictures, I realized I never updated about our weekend visit to Moulton last week. Sorrrryyy! ;)

We spent Friday evening in Moulton last week. We went over for a friends engagement party that was Saturday night.

We were able to sneak in Beau's first t-ball game Saturday morning. Go Reds! ;)

We loved spending the day with the fam enjoying lunch and a little shopping. Saturday night, was a great night of catching up, and playing with the other kids!! Lee was able to meet some great friends. He had a BLAST! Looking forward to the wedding in July!

The Simplicity of the Plant

I was laying on my bed this morning listening to some music staring out the window. Pitiful? No. Baby was asleep and it was quiet. Except for my music. Peaceful and just what I needed today!

I noticed this plant next to our window and got to thinking. I'm not the best at keeping plants. Totally stink at it, actually. I tend to forget about watering them. Not on purpose, mind you, just get busy with day to day things and forget. When I do remember to water, it never takes long to perk back up and look alive for a couple days. It doesn't take much water at all. 1/2 a cup to a cup full every couple of days.

Started applying this to my everyday walk. God doesn't require tons of our time. He asks for just a little each day. Have you notice that when you aren't in his Word how dead, dry, and desperate you feel? I sure do. Once I read a couple chapters in my bible, do a quick quiet time, or just sit in prayer while listening to music, I feel so alive, rejuvenated and energized! This simple plant is such a reminder to me of how I need to be living on a daily basis. Thank you Lord, for speaking to me this morning, through this plant. Sound silly? It may. It worked for me, and God knew I needed this simple reminder today. :)

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Lee has been flirting with the idea of walking lately. We actually got his first couple of steps on video the other day! Way to go buddy!!

It's never too early to start working on writing, is it?! :) I found these cute little bath crayons at Walmart.

We're starting to work on holding a crayon correctly! HA...yeah right. The kid is one...we just scribble, eat them, and throw them across the bathroom! ;)

Easter 2013

We celebrated Easter in Oxford this year. We started last weekend with meeting the Easter bunny. Lee LOVED the bunny. Couldn't get enough of him...

This last weekend, my parents came to town to visit. We had a great time doing the usual...hanging out, shopping, eating, ect..

Sunday morning before church, Lee found a treat left by the Easter bunny!!

I do believe his favorite items in his basket were the plastic eggs and yogurt bites. ;)

We went to church and had a great Easter service. Phillip's choir did a great job and the entire service was such a worshipful time.

After church we decided on Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. Mom and dad needed something with no wait to be able to get on the road a little sooner.

We had such a great weekend as a whole. Happy Easter everyone!! :)
