Happy 30th Birthday, Phillip!

WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!

Easter, Part 2, in PTC

Sunday morning, the Easter bunny had made a stop by our (nana and grandad's) house. He left a windmill (fan, as Lee calls it...), a new toothbrush, a new Bible, a bunny ears book, chalk, candy, some new Tiger dinner plates, and some bath stuff.
We had to wake Lee up due to having to get ready for church, etc.. When he came downstairs, he saw his stuff and went running to the fireplace. He was so excited! :)

His favorite was the "fan." He thought that was so fun!
Showing grandad his new toothbrush!
Of course we had to have a few jelly beans for breakfast on our new Tiger plate. He wanted to share with everyone, which was too sweet!
We all then got ready for church and was able to snap a few pictures before we left.

After church, we came home, Lee took a nap, and then we went on a two hour golf cart ride. We stopped by Wal-Mart, the park, etc.. We had a blast!

Golf-cart selfie! ;)

That evening, while Phillip and dad were grilling hamburgers, we played outside some more. The Easter bunny also brought a couple cans of silly string. Lee LOVED it. He thought it was SO fun!

We ended the evening and weekend visit with a little Mickey in Grandad's new leather chair. They loved it because they both fit!

Easter, Part 1, in PTC

We got to PTC late Thursday evening and learned that most of the weekend would be spent inside due to rain. It completely bummed me out because we had so much planned. Friday, mom and I went shopping all day. Lee came with us and honestly was a champ. We had to bribe him a couple of times with some candy, cookies, etc.., but other than that, he was great!
Saturday we woke up early. Phillip ran the Huddleston Hustle 5K (in the drizzling rain), and we hung out at the house until he was done. My sister and her kids came over to visit as well. We found out that one of the Easter Egg hunts was not cancelled and so we decided to load up and go to that one. So glad we did! We had a great time. The rain had stopped (for the most part) at this point, so we didn't get too wet.
Lee had a blast. He has become a pro at hunting eggs at this point. He knew exactly what to do and ran to each egg to put into his basket. Too cute!

When we got home, they all decided to open their eggs to see the surprises. Stickers, candy, bracelets, etc.. filled the eggs.
After lunch, we decided to have another hunt in the backyard. The kids loved it. These eggs were a little more hidden so they actually had to work to find these.

After a nap and late lunch, we decided to dye eggs before the cousins had to go home. We decided to use a shaving cream method I found on pinterest. Worked great!

We decorated the eggs with stickers and Lee had so much fun doing it!

We had a great time, despite the rain. We definitely made the most of it! Happy Easter!

Church Egg Hunt

We have started attending First Baptist Church in Columbus and love it. It is filled with the friendliest people and such a loving group! The kids program is wonderful, which obviously is a VERY important aspect for us in a church family. We decided to go to the egg hunt last Sunday evening. It was mad chaos, but so fun!

We hardly had to help Lee at all. He knew exactly what to do. He loved finding his eggs and loved opening them to see the goodies even more! There were probably 300 eggs out there for the "preschool" age kids to find and he even found one we donated! Too fun!!

Stockton Family Easter Egg Hunt

It has become a yearly tradition for the Stockton family to have an Easter Egg hunt/party at Jan and Tony's house. This year, Lee's Aunt KK decided to rent a bounce house. The kids (and adults) LOVED it! Such a special addition!

Lee wasn't too interested in dying eggs, but I got him around to do one or two. He was more interested in the toys and bounce house, for sure!

This was his first actual hunt, so daddy had to help him some learn what to do. He caught on SO quickly and ended up finding some of his own eggs! Love having kids during the holidays....it makes it so much more fun!
The Easter bunny also made an appearance! Lee wasn't scared one bit and actually ran up to it saying "hi rabbit!" He loved him!

We had a blast! Until next year!
