Columbus Air Show

We live about 3 miles from a very large Air Force Base in Columbus. This year they decided to put on an air show for the community. Due to the weather, they had to move back the time from noon to 9:30 Sunday morning. We felt bad skipping church, but REALLY wanted to take Lee to see all the airplanes. HE LOVED IT! This brought back so many memories growing up with my dad in the air force and going to these yearly on the base we lived on. The crowd was minimal due to the weather and time so it was perfect!
I'm not sure who was more excited, Lee or his daddy!

Walking into these big planes were always my favorite growing up. Still some of my favorites!
Lee had a blast! He was so good and just sat and watched the airplanes the whole time.
Of course we had to get a couple pictures next to the T-38 for grandad. My dad was an instructor on this plane and always has stories to tell. So fun!

Quick lunch break before the show began!
Intently watching the air show!
He learned quickly to plug his ears when they would come by. He didn't cry once, get scared, etc.. He LOVED them!

We had such a great time! The weather permitted us from staying long, but we got to see everything we wanted to see and stayed for about 3 hours.
Can't wait until next year!
