2 Months!

Lee turned 2 months old on April 26th! (Just a little late in posting this....)

Some things to remember from month #2:
-He officially slept through the night on April 28th. He went to sleep around 10:00pm and woke up around 7:00am. WONDERFUL!!! :)
-He has really started giggling and smiling when he sees us. How fun! He is starting to recognize our voices and realizes when we aren't around. He loves his momma but truly may turn out to be a daddy's boy! He loves the sound of his daddy's voice and will turn his head to try and find him.
-He went to the doctor for his 2 month check up on May 4th. He weighed in at 14lbs 6oz. Definitely puts him in the 96% for weight. His length is 25in. which puts him in the 96% for length. Dr. Samford kept thinking he was 4 months old!! He got his first round of shots and did so well. The doctor was very pleased with his social interaction, eye contact, joints, and weight!
-He went to Auburn for the first time this month as well. He stayed in a hotel and slept through the night! Way to go buddy!!
-He is a really happy baby unless he's dirty or hungry....then it's on! ;)
-Lee can wear some 3-6 month clothes but is still mainly wearing 3 month. He's in size 2 diapers, but not for long. They are fitting more snug every day!
-Phillip thinks Lee's eyes will be green. We'll see!! I still feel like they may change....who knows!
-His favorite time of day is still bath time. He LOVES it. We think its because he likes being naked so well. :)
-He likes his paci but isn't completely attached to it. He doesn't have to have it to go to sleep and usually spits it out before falling asleep.
-He is still sleeping in the cradle in our room but probaly before the month is over will transition over to his bed. Momma isn't ready to let that one go....yet. ;)
-He is usually pretty easy to get to bed at night. We have a little routine of bath, bottle, bed and it's proving to work out well for us. His daddy takes over after the bath and can get him to bed MUCH better than I can. He just has that special touch, I guess! I love that they are already forming that special bond.
-He is on mostly formula at this point with supplemental breast milk bottles every day. I had to get put on some medicine that I wasn't able to breastfeed/pump with. I wasn't quite ready to give it up yet, but it is what was best for me and him so that's the decision that was made.
-Lee is eating roughly 6 oz. at this point every 3 1/2 to 4 hours (excluding night time).
-His favorite activity at this point is sticking his toungue out and playing with it. He will copy us and do what we do. He thinks its pretty funny and will smile or giggle when we stick our tongue out at him. I love it!

We are enjoying him SO much. We talk all the time how it's still weird to think that he's ours! It's been so much fun figuring this out with Phillip. I think we make a pretty good team! :) Looking forward to what month 3 has in store.....

Below are some snap shot pictures at 2 months. I couldn't decide which to put on so I just added all of them. His facial expressions crack me up. You can see exactly what he's thinking just in his eyes. Unfortunately, he gets that trait from his momma....I have NO poker face (as Phillip calls it!).
