The Stockton Family: 9 Months!

9 Months!

Lee turned 9 months on Monday, November 26, 2012! Only three more months until his first birthday....are you kidding?!

Some things to remember from month 9:
-Not sure on Lee's weight. His next appointment is December 13th so we will find out for sure then. I'm anxious to see how much he's grown and get an exact weight/height!
-Lee's sleeping still hasn't gotten much better. I believe I'm getting payback. Mom says I was a HORRIBLE sleeper until I turned 1. Although Lee is not horrible....he's still waking up some during the night.
-He still only has two teeth but I truly believe we are back in full swing with teething again. Maybe the top two?? Drooling is back in full force and wanting to chew on EVERYTHING in sight...
-Lee's favorite food is still bananas. No doubt. Although, he just tried a cracker for the first time on Saturday and FELL IN LOVE. It was one of the buttery, round crackers. He absolutely loved it. He will also do anything for a cheese puff (the Gerber, small, oblong looking things....). His favorite with those are the veggie flavored.
-LEE OFFICIALLY STARTED CRAWING THIS MONTH! Wahooo! Way to go, bud! He's a mover too...phew!
-Lee is still in size 4 diapers
-As you can see with the picture above, he loves to stand. Anytime he can stand as opposed to sit, he is all about it!
-He LOVES to talk (babble...). He will just sit in the back seat in his carseat and just babble away. It's adorable! I have a feeling once he starts talking he will NOT stop....
-Lee has started saying "ma-ma" and "da-da"...his favorite sound to make is the "b" sound.
-Lee is mostly in size 12 month clothes at this point. He can still fit into some 9-12 but mostly 12 month.
-Lee celebrated his very first Thanksgiving this month. He tried a little buttermilk pie and deviled egg. He actually liked the egg! Maybe this is something else we can start!! The buttermilk pie he wasn't too sure about....we'll see. I'm sure his taste buds will change because that pie was DELICIOUS!
-Lee also celebrated his first Halloween (technically it was in October but was during the 9th month) this month. He dressed up as Mickey Mouse and was the cutest thing ever! He didn't mind the costume too much....

I believe that is about it for now. If I forgot anything I'll come back to add later. He's a sweet boy with a sweet little personality. People constantly are telling us that they can't believe how happy he is. We promptly tell them that yes, he is happy, but he definitely has his moments. It seems as though he saves those moments for when its just us at home. Phillip and I have decided that if he is going to act out, we'd rather it be at home then in public. Although, I'm sure our time will come with tantrums.....he is his father's child! ;)
