Today we had our 15 month check up with Dr. Samford. He was thrilled with his growth and development and was happy to hear all the milestones he's reaching! He said he's right on target with everything. Happy mama, over here! He didn't even whimper during the exam. Dr. Samford was amazed at his calmness..

We had to wait for a little while and had the best time together. He was in a great little happy mood just laughing and carrying on the whole time! He's such a ham...

He randomly started driving his truck all over his body. I'm not sure if he liked the way it felt, but he thought it was so funny! Such a particular little personality he has....its hilarious!

-He weighed in at 27.3lbs and is 33 inches tall. He is in the 81% for weight and 92% for height. We won't talk about his head circumferance..
-He can say quite a few words. The list includes--please, hot, mama, dada, bat, ball, no, and shakes his head "yes" for yes, etc.. He also loves to bark like a dog. He won't do it often, but when he does, its hilarious!
-He's comlpetely off the bottle and has been for about 4 months now
-He takes WONDERFUL naps and sleeps just as well at night. He takes 2 naps a day (on average) for about an hour to an hour and a half each
-He still goes down about 7:30pm and sleeps straight until 7:00am the next morning
-He has 6 teeth on bottom and almost 6 up top..
-His favorite activities include chasing the dogs with his toys, playing with his water table, and anything to do with outdoors!
-His favorite toys are his trucks and cars, his bat and ball, and his push car
-He can understand and follows simple directions like "bring your bat to mama" or "go get your cup and take it to daddy"; I'm amazed at how much he actually already understands.
-We haven't even entertained the idea of potty training yet. I tried to set him on the potty a couple weeks back and he cried. I really hope this isn't an insight as to how training will go...
-He is eating all solids and has been for about 4 months now--his favorite foods include: chicken, fruit, bananas, eggs (currently eating 2 every morning..). His favorite drinks are milk, water, and a sip of mama's sweet tea every now and then! ;)
-His mind is like a sponge right now imitating every little thing we do. It's hilarious!
We are LOVING this stage! Although he's a hand full, we are having tons of fun! He brings a smile to our face daily and are so glad God gave him to us to love and be parents to! :)
