We got to spend the 4th of July this year in PTC. Despite the rain and Lee running a temperature most of the week, we still were able to have some fun!
This was Lee and Haley on the way over to Georgia. They truly are best friends....
Lee has finally warmed up to the pool and has grown to love it! I couldn't resist this little tush picture...
We were able to spend some quality time with the family. We did get two days of pool in before the rain came on Wednesday..
All he would say is "pool"...this was him, mid-word....too cute! :)
On the 4th, we were all getting a little stir-crazy due to the rain, so we decided to head over to Monkey Joes in Newnan. It was cheap and fun entertainment! Lee at first wasn't too crazy about it, but QUICKLY warmed up to it once Nana got in with him. He was rolling around and jumping in and out of the bouncy house like a pro! He had a BALL!!
With this smile, you would have NEVER have known he'd been running a 101.00 fever with a little cough all week. By the 4th, I felt like he was starting to feel better...thank goodness.
We made sure to make him take some breaks....he would have played non-stop all afternoon if we would have let him!

While we were at Monkey Joes, the guys decided to stay home and smoke some ribs/chicken. Despite the rain, they made it happen! That's what tailgating tents are for....
After dinner, we had to have a bomb pop. It's not the 4th of July unless you eat a bomb pop.
Again, we didn't let the rain stop us from having some fun with sparklers either!
We ended our day with a nice new, shiner! Wet pavement plus a 17 month old did not turn out so well...(my fault....I should have known better!!)
