This being our 5th move in the last 6 years....to say we are sick of it, is an understatement! We have been slowly packing the house for a couple months now. We were SO ready to be settled into our new home by the time the moving weekend actually got here!

We do not usually let the dogs on our beds...that's a big "no no" in our house. But seeing as though the mattresses were on the floor the last couple of days, it was tremendously hard to keep them off! They thought they had died and gone to doggy heaven. They both LOVED it! :)

The movers that loaded us in Oxford actually were able to load us up on Friday night instead of Saturday morning, like originally planned. It was so nice because that gave us the morning on Saturday to get down to Columbus and have a full day to unpack and get settled.

Lee was at the in-laws and cousins house that weekend, thank goodness. I couldn't of imagined trying to move and unpack with a one year old running around! NO thank you! The dogs stayed with us and were thoroughly confused the whole time but did GREAT. They did love the extra running space once everything was packed into the truck!

Loaded and ready Saturday morning! Headed to our new home!!

Last minute we had to rent a tailor as well to pull behind Phillip's car. Kyle, a friend of Phillip's agreed to drive it down to Columbus for us. I was in my car....Phillip drove the U-haul....and Kyle drove his car. We were pretty much a Cara-van! :)

Phillip and Tubs loaded and ready. Haley got to ride down with me.

This was one of the guys that helped move us in once we arrived in Columbus. He was HUGE! 7ft tall....seriously, no joke. He was huge.

While we were unpacking on Saturday, I enjoyed getting sweet pictures like this of Lee visiting with his cousins! How adorable is this? I think he had a great time in Alabama!

Phillip had to drive back to Oxford on Sunday for church. He is continuing his position as Music Minister at OU until mid-August. On his way back, he met our cousins to pick up Lee. Our Aunt had sent us a DELICIOUS dinner to go for that night. Are you kidding? How blessed are we?! First off, she is an AMAZING cook....secondly she sent--chicken casserole, potatoes, creamed corn, mac and cheese, beans, and corn bread. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This helped make our house feel like our home. The second night there, we actually got to sit down to this "home-cooked" meal made by our Aunt Karen. Absolutely delicious! So glad this move is OVER!
