We celebrated Lee's 2nd birthday this year on February 22nd. We had a blast and were very blessed by everyone that drove all this way to help us celebrate. We decided on a dump truck theme for this year due to Lee being totally and completely OBSESSED with trucks. Although his favorite is a fire-truck, he still loves the dump trucks. We had a blast. :)
The kids started the party by decorating yellow hard hats with stickers. They loved it!
Next up was lunch. We had BBQ, baked beans, cole slaw, chips, PB&J, pretzels and grapes. Delicious menu!
Next stop was "pin the load on the dump truck". Although the younger ones didn't close their eyes, they still had a blast. Thanks, Pinterest! ;)
We then transitioned to cupcakes and present time. So fun!
We had all the cupcakes in the individual little dump trucks for the kids to keep after they ate them. They decided to have a race with their trucks when they finished. Too cute!
At the end of the party, we had a little spare time, so everyone drew on the side walk with chalk. They all loved it!
This is about how we all felt after the party was over. So glad our family came to help us celebrate our big boy turning 2! It sure was "loads" of fun!! ;)
