Although we celebrated Lee's birthday the weekend before, we still made the day of very special! Nana and Grandad were in town Monday-Thursday of his birthday week which was wonderful. They weren't able to make it to the party, but having them here on his actual birthday was just as special. They gave him this extra large dump truck which he LOVES for his birthday.

He got to stay home on his birthday and the day before, and PLAY all day long. He had a blast (and nana and grandad were exhausted!)

They played many games of hide and go seek, puzzles, wrestling, etc., etc. etc. They had so much fun!

We were going to go out to eat for his actual birthday dinner but decided to stay in and cook instead. So glad we did! We had a delicious dinner of steak, baked potatoes and salad. Lee loved it and ate everything on his plate!

He was beyond tired of pictures being taken of himself by this point so he kept hiding his eyes every time I would try...little snot!

We got him a birthday cake and it was delicious!
Of course it was orange and blue...

Because he just had his party and received some wonderful gifts (along with Christmas just 2 months before...) we decided to get him something small and put the amount of money we would spend on a gift in his savings account. He was just as thrilled with what he got as if we had spent tons of money!

Phillip picked out Mr. Potato Head all by himself at Wal-Mart earlier that day. Lee LOVES it!

Of course he had to take it in the bathtub that evening....silly boy!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Sweet boy! We love you SO much! SO glad God blessed us with you two years ago!!
