Beaches to Bachelors.....

What a week/weekend we just had at our house!! Phillip hosted Bill’s (good friend from growing up) bachelor party in Jacksonville this last weekend. Obviously I was expected/anxious to get out of the house, so mom brought the kids down and we stayed in a hotel on the beach. The guys were able to spend some time at the beach on Friday and go on a rather successful deep sea fishing trip all day Saturday!

While they were busy being bachelors, mom and I were busy entertaining three kids at the beach! We had a great time playing in the waves, swimming with Sting Rays and gathering many seashells for them to take home. The guys went home on Sunday and the girls and kids were able to come back to the house. We finished up their visit with swimming in the pool and going to see the new movie “Up”. We had a great time with everyone here and are already looking forward to Wes, Katie and Beau’s visit at the end of June!

This is a video we took before taking the kids to the beach for the first time! They came up with a "to-do" list of things they wanted to accomplish while at the beach....and yes, they were this "active" all weekend! :)
